The French Martini is a classy and sophisticated cocktail. The Martini was invented in the 1980’s at one of New York Restaurateur Keith McNally’s New York City bars.

The key ingredient that makes the French Martini “French” is Chambord, a black raspberry liqueur that has been produced in France since 1685. To put a modern twist on the martini, you could also use raspberry flavour vodka instead of ordinary.
