Cucumber & Rosemary Gin Fizz Cocktail Recipe
Only nine steps to make the perfect Cucumber & Rosemary Gin Fizz Cocktail!
To start we are going to be making some Honey syrup. This is very similar to Sugar syrup but is made with Honey instead of Sugar. By turning the Honey into a syrup, it thins it out and makes a more pourable consistency which is easier to mix into cocktails.
- In a measuring jug, add the Honey and hot water. Then whisk thoroughly to combine.
- Set aside to cool to room temperature (the Honey syrup should make around three cocktails – you can store it in the fridge for later).
- Add to a cocktail shaker 15ml of the Honey Syrup, Lemon Juice, Cucumber slices and Rosemary sprig.
- Muddle the Cucumber slices & Rosemary sprig in the shaker.
- Add the Hendrick’s gin to the shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake the shaker hard for around 2 – 3 minutes until the outside of the shaker turns cold.
- Fill a highball glass with lots of ice and then strain the contents of the shaker into the glass.
- Top up the glass with Soda water.
- Garnish with a slice of Cucumber and a Rosemary sprig.
