This Passion Fruit Mojito cocktail is a twist on the cocktail classic the Mojito. If you didn’t think the Mojito couldn’t get any better wait until you try this! The fruity notes of the passion fruit combined with the fresh flavours of the mint, make this a delightful summer cocktail.
The original Mojito dates back to the 1500s, when Sir Francis Drake landed in Havana, Cuba. The Mojito takes it’s name from the Spanish ‘mojadito’ meaning ‘a little wet’.

Passion Fruit Mojito Ingredients
- 50 ml White Rum (We used Kingston 62 White Rum)
- 20 ml Lime Juice
- 15 ml Sugar Syrup
- 15 ml Passion Fruit Liqueur (We used Passoa)
- 5 ml Grenadine
- Top up with Soda water or Lemonade
- Handful of Mint leaves
- Garnish with a sprig of Mint and a wedge of Lime
Passion Fruit Mojito Cocktail Recipe
Only seven steps to make the perfect Passion Fruit Mojito!
- Add the Lime Juice, Sugar Syrup and Mint leaves into the bottom of a highball glass and give them a good (but gentle) muddle to release the Mint oils.
- Half fill the glass with ice and then add the White Rum, Passoa & Grenadine.
- Give the contents of the glass a good stir, making sure to mix the mint leaves through the drink.
- Fill the glass with plenty more ice.
- Top up the glass with Soda water (or Lemonade if you don’t like soda).
- Give the contents of the glass a good stir.
- Garnish with a sprig of Mint and wedge of Lime.
