Cinnamon Tequila Sour Ingredients
Alcohol
- 50 ml Tequila (We used Olmeca Reposado Tequila)
Juices, Sodas & Syrups
- 25 ml Lime Juice
- 20 ml Cinnamon Syrup
- Soda water to top up
Fruit & Other
- Dried lime wedge to garnish
- 1 Cinnamon stick to garnish
- Cinnamon + sugar mix for the rim
Cinnamon Tequila Sour Recipe
Only seven steps to make the perfect Cinnamon Tequila Sour!
- Rim a tall glass with Lime Juice and then in a mix of ground Cinnamon and Sugar.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Add Tequila, Lime Juice, and Cinnamon Syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled.
- Strain into the glass.
- Top with soda water and stir gently.
- Garnish with a dried lime wheel and a cinnamon stick.
- Serve, sip and enjoy!

FAQs
Can I make this without a shaker?
Yes – just stir the tequila, lime juice, and syrup directly into the glass before topping with soda. Shaking gives it a smoother blend, but it’ll still taste great.
Is it very sweet?
Not at all – the lime keeps it sharp. If you prefer a more sharper cocktails though, cut the cinnamon syrup back to 15 ml.
What if I don’t have reposado tequila?
Blanco tequila works fine – it’ll be fresher and lighter. Reposado just adds a lovely vanilla-spice depth that complements the cinnamon.
