FAQs

Can I make this martini without crème de menthe?

Yes—sub with a few drops of peppermint extract (start with 2–3 drops) and add some sugar syrup to taste. It’ll still bring the minty chill without the green colour.

How strong is the mint flavour?

Crème de menthe can be bold—start with the recipe amount, then taste. If it’s too minty, whisk in a splash more Baileys to soften the edge.

Can I make this martini ahead of time?

You can pre-mix the base (vodka, crème de cacao, Baileys) and chill. Shake with ice just before serving so it stays cold and wins that lovely frothy top.
