For this Fruity Gin & Tonic cocktail recipe, we’ve partnered with The Ethical Spirits & Co. Ethical Spirits are a craft gin distillery in Tokyo, Japan who create next generation gin from waste food and drink products. The gin we used is their ‘LAST ELEGANT‘ gin which is produced by reusing wasted Sake kasu (residual yeast left over from the production of sake).

The taste of sake kasu is fruity and allows gins produced with Sake kasu (such as this one) to have a much richer fragrance than those produced using neutral spirits. The Ethical Spirits LAST ELEGANT gin features a harmony of notes, including; Juniper Berry, Hibiscus, Coriander, Lavender, Cardamom, Ginger, Cinnamon & Lime making it the perfect under tone for this Fruity Gin & Tonic recipe.

📢 Notes: We’ve created an alochol data set which shows the most commonly used spirits/liqueurs used in cocktails along with the description and alcohol strength percentage. See it here now.
