This Coronation Cocktail is the perfect tipple to enjoy whilst we welcome a new monarch to the throne.
Gin is a popular spirit in the Royal household, with it widely rumoured that a Dry Martini is King Charles III drink of choice. Well, with him soon to become king, we thought we’d put a British twist on this classic by mixing it with some good old Earl Grey Breakfast Tea. The oils from the tea added to the gin, provide a lovely citrus and herbal infusion.

👪 Serves 11 – perfect for a Coronation street party.
The Coronation Cocktail Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon of Earl Grey Loose Tea
- 700ml bottle of Gin
- Ice
The Coronation Cocktail Recipe
- First to make the Coronation Cocktail, we need to make a big batch of Earl Grey infused gin!
- Put the Earl Grey tea into a large jug. Pour the gin over and give the contents of the jug a spoon for around 1 minute.
- With two coffee filters, we are going to strain the contents of the jug into a bottle, this will provide us with the infused gin, which can be kept and used over a few months.
- To serve, shake or stir (how ever you prefer) over ice.
- Garnish with a wedge of lemon.
- Sip and enjoy!
